沙漠裡的那些種子知道一件事……就是「雨會來。」它們知道，這不是猜測！「雨會來。」，什麼時候來? 它們不知道。

它們不看日曆，(不像我們），它們採取了一個很美的策略……很美的！它只立基於一件事：那就是「雨會來。」

別再看日曆了。種子根本不看日曆。它們就是知道雨會來。當雨來了，「要準備好。」所以不是猜測。不是推測。絕對一切都是已經知道的、知道的、知道的：「雨會來，要準備好！」它們就是這麼做的。

沙漠就是因此百花盛開的！你看著沙漠，它看起來，甚麼都沒有，好像甚麼都沒有！單一種顏色。底下藏著的是這些不可思議的小種子。「雨會來，要準備好！」然後，雨真的來了。而當雨一來，它們便盛開了！

當沙漠裡百花盛開時，它就再也不單調了。到處都有了絕美的顏色，那柔美的粉紅色澤、還有藍色、黃色、紅色、綠色！連沙都看不見了。它會發生的。

你也可以看著你的生命，看著你生活的單調。但要記得，在你心裡有一些種子……我們今天在這裡會談不少種子……是有些種子的。雨會來。而沙漠會百花盛開。

這發生過了，不是一次，不是一次……而是一再又一再又一再地發生，這些處於休眠狀態的種子就是上一次盛開成功故事留下的種子。那些盛開的花朵，留下了這些種子。這就是它們的證據，「真的會下雨……要準備好開花。」

如果在我的生命中，不再是面對所有我所面對的混亂、所有我為自己所製造出來的挑戰……而是我開始真正理解生命是我所擁有的這不可思議的旅程、我所擁有的這不可思議的禮物、我所擁有的這不可思議的機會……
