September 6, the Focus 5 event continued with a reminder that the objective of life is to thrive, not survive. He encouraged everyone to learn to let that which is beneficial sink in and let the rest go, and be attracted to that beautiful, that attractive state within each of us. Focus where there is no fear, doubt or envy.
Prem referenced the words of Krishna saying “Whatever you think about most in your life, you will remember that at your last minute.” Asking the question, “Do we remember gratitude or are we only trying to find solutions to problems?”
Recognizing that during these past few years, many have seen the loss of loved ones, Prem encouraged everyone to put the sadness aside and celebrate them, allow them to live on in memory - celebrate them in your heart. He added the practical perspective that you can‘t celebrate them with sadness.
In Amaroo, Day 2, more than 2,800 people from 57 countries had the unique opportunity to listen to Prem Rawat while he guided them through a review of the techniques of Self-Knowledge.
An additional 2,000 people from around the world, experienced the start of Prem conducting the Knowledge Review. He provided context and inspiration about the simplicity and importance of practice. The session was broadcast in English with simultaneous interpretation in Hindi.
During this final Focus 5 Amaroo 2022 session Prem translates Hindi and English weaving in a mix of traditional Indian stories and modern examples. He reflected that in today’s world the value of a human being is disappearing. While we might live in a time of political correctness, it hasn’t resulted in a sense of closeness, rather we are more and more divided.
Prem reminds us that we look for love and kindness in the environment, not realizing that what we are looking for is inside. As he has stated for years, it is only when each of us becomes kind that society will be kind. Dedicate your life to understanding the Divine, without concepts but by personal experience. Concepts are the drug that gets in our way.
“Focus 5” kicked off with Prem Rawat encouraging everyone to focus on what is real, what our heart needs. He reflected on the nature of doubt and how it leads to anxiety and fear. He expressed how we must learn to keep our hearts clear or doubt will come in.
Prem acknowledged that life is not always easy, but it is essential to remember to let ourselves be filled with gratitude for this life. As long as we are alive, everything is good and we can dig into our own strength.
Our mission: To be in touch with yourself rather than focusing on the frequent distraction of technology and those things that take us away from what is real. He shared that being conscious is the only security system against the “thief of time” taking away what cannot be replaced.
On the final morning of the Focus 5, Prem Rawat reflected on the key lessons shared during this Amaroo 2022 experience. The session was moved into a new location due to heavy rains Thursday evening. Independent of any external challenges, Prem’s message was clear and powerful. He used the analogy of a water bottle never being as important as drinking the water.
He reminded the Amaroo attendees and the TimelessToday’s livestream audience that once you embark on the journey to know who you are, during this life it will never end. The beauty and experience of life is about discovery, discovery of a lifetime, your lifetime. Prem reminded everyone to appreciate and engage in the journey of life every single day, and that it is never too late to accept that peace in your heart and be fulfilled. He added “Empty yourself. Except for that which is real.”
The Day 4, the afternoon Focus 5 session allowed time for additional audience interaction. Prem, as always, offered his insights about life as a beautiful play to watch and enjoy.
He reflected on love in its purest form as a love without all the noise. And, he again reminded us of reality’s beauty, and that there is no need to create alternatives.
