認識你自己有什麼重要性呢？我可以給你最精美的地圖，圖文並茂；非常詳盡；一切都有標示。地圖上有個很美的地方是你想要去的。

但你在那張地圖上需要有的最重要的是什麼？那就是，「你是在那張地圖的什麼位置？」因為「左轉，右轉，直走」全都和你所在的位置息息相關。但是，如果你不知道你在哪裡，什麼是左轉?什麼是右轉? 什麼是直走? 什麼是｢繞過圓環｣？……它根本沒有任何意義。

而我們忘記了！人們寫書，人們演講。他們告訴大家「我們必須左轉、我們必須要左轉。」然後又說「喔不對，我們現在要右轉。」誰的「右」？誰的「左」？哪一個「左」？我們要去哪裡？哪一個「直走」？因為這都是相對的！

除非你知道你是誰，否則活在這個世上就會很不一樣了。因為，其中一件事就是你會迷失方向……因為你不知道你在哪裡！你迷路了！這裡會有那種感覺說… 「我要做的那件事是對的嗎？人們喜歡我嗎？我受歡迎嗎？」
